  • Are you interested in deepening your knowledge about birth and your body's ability to give birth in ecstasy?
  • Were you bored in your other birthing classes and want something that is more real, maybe a bit 'out there', something that is challenging the norms?
  • Did you feel like there was something 'missing' in your other classes or in the books you have been reading?
  • Would you like to participate in a discussion that has become taboo to talk about - especially in reference to giving birth?

Some of the PROBLEMS that I am noticing within the last decade, since I have immersed myself in the culture of natural childbirth are:

  • There tends to be lacking information in childbirth preparation classes
  • Maybe you have noticed that your caregiver rarely, if ever, talks about sex and birth
  • Higher expectations to have a natural birth and it be ecstactic or orgasmic due to new movies and books talking about this topic, however, no one really knowing how to prepare for that or what it really means – so lack of preparation and realness around the topic
  • High hopes and high disappointments in regards to your birthing experience due to popular hype surrounding 'natural' birth
  • A belief that birth cannot be sexual, perhaps, because you have not even consider this potential before?
  • There appears to be a lack of books that speak truthfully to the notion that birth is a sexual experience (you need to order them online and know where to look)
  • A cultural fear about sex, which leaks into the realms of birth
  • A cultural fear about birth and an increase in the industrialization and technocracy of birth

Some of the RESULTS/BENEFITS, that many have experienced after learning about the power and potential of childbirth are:
    • An increase trust in the process of birth
    • Deep satisfaction
    • True excitement
    • A sense of feeling empowerment
    • For some, healing occurs
    • Increase of confidence
    • An internal 'claiming' of your bodies ability to give birth & acceptance of its sexual nature
    • As caregivers, a new level of respect for the birthing process
    • A need for less intervention, because you will understand the physiology of birth and know what you need to have a 'natural' birth without interruption and intervention
I have been observing that there are some common FRUSTRATIONS/COMPLAINTS that birthing mothers are voicing such as:
    • In today’s birthing culture we are seeing more and more intervention in birth SUCH AS: increase rate of csection, induction, epidural?
    • More and more women are experiencing dissatisfaction in their birthing experiences... they are complaining about it, talking about it, news reports, movies etc.
    • Expressing a feeling like something was missing
    • Many are lacking the trust in a woman's ability to give birth naturally
    • A sense of disconnect with their caregivers

What can you expect to learn & topics of discussion?
    • What does this statement really mean… Birth is Sexual?
    • Why would you want to have an ecstatic birth?
    • An Understanding of the physiology of pregnancy and birth.
    • The history of childbirth
    • Industrialization of birth
    • Cultural de-sexualization of pregnancy and birth
    • The Problems associated with the separation of sex and birth: Illusion of lack of choice, Inability to fully surrender to the experience, lack of appropriate physiological information
    • Current orgasmic birthing trends – the pros and cons!
    • The importance of the female orgasm AND HOW IT RELATES TO BIRTH?
    • Importance of the masculine
    • The benefits emotionally and physically and mentally when you embrace your birth as a normal extension of your sexual being?
    • How to take charge of your pregnancy and birth
    • Visualizations for birth preparations
    • Understanding your amazing reproductive anatomy and how it correlates to sexuality of birth
    • Movie clips on orgasmic birth and group discussion
    • Free online course! www.onlinechildbirthclasses.org
